Today a group of us decided to go to Governors Island for the day! It is one of my and Tyson's favorite summer spots. We hadn't been yet this year and decided we should invite some friends that are newer to the city and have never been! (Plus they're kids are on Owen's elite list of friends) It was a beautiful day! We brought Owen's kite with us today. We had never had a chance to fly it. It was a great day for it, and Owen loved flying his kite! They actually DID get it up quite high and could just stand and watch it, though this little clip doesn't show that attempt. This video is a failed attempt. :)
