Copper Mines

Today my cousin Amy took me and the kids up to the copper mines. She drove us up Butterfield Canyon first. The view was amazing. You can see the mine in the distance. Apparently it is so big, you can see it from outer space!

The visitors center was pretty cool. Here is Owen looking at different minerals through a microscope!

Last week we took the kids to the airplane museum again.
Owen loved all of the planes. They even have a children's exhibit now. (which we missed because it closed right as we got there.) It looked fun though. We will have to go back earlier in the day :)

There have been a lot of playgrounds this summer.
Pennie loves the slide. But she really likes to go with her brother :)

Owen, just monkeying around!

Corn.
Pennie loves corn.

And here is a sneak preview of...
Halloween!
Owen is going to be, you guessed it,
Spiderman!
This picture makes it look like he's admiring his one pecs.

Pennie will be a cow.
Moooo.

I've been to that mine! It's huge!! The costumes are so cute! Where did you get the cow costume? She is adorable.

We got it at Costco! It was $13. So cheap, we couldn't resist. The tights don't fit, but the costume does. It's a 24 month, and the crotch of the tights barely reach her knees... sigh
