little travelers, part 5

Owen on the plane home.
We headed out to Newark the night before our flight, and stayed in the Hampton Inn right off the air train. It was the best idea ever. We were able to reorganize our luggage, bath everyone, and get a really good night sleep before getting up at 4am to head to the airport. There was a shuttle that was supposed to take us the the air train, but the driver took us to the airline instead! The flights were pretty smooth and ran on time. In fact, we pushed away from the gate at Newark early! (We still took off late because we couldn't get around a stalled plane to get to the runway...)

My sister on the plane.
She was so great to help me out.
And it was so wonderful to be able to hang out with her again.
I miss you Cheese :(

Owen was thrilled to be home.
He sat on his bed for an hour just reading to himself.
Pennie, who had been the clingiest child the entire trip, was her old self again. She abandoned me for her grandparents immediately.
I couldn't be more grateful :)
