The kids had their doctor's appointments yesterday, and here are the stats!
Owen
3 years old
38 inches (70th %)
33 pounds (60th %)
Potty trained (accept at night)
GREAT vocabulary (the doctor said so!)
Perfect child :)
(Accept for recent clingyness; sitting in my lap, asking for a pickup, asking for a tissue when there is no runny nose, constantly yelling "MOMMY!", and various other behaviors when I happen to be busy with the baby)
Penelope
9 months old
29.7 inches (97th %)
21.7 pounds (85th %)
Head: 18.2 inches (95th %)
Sits
Pushes herself backwards
ALMOST crawls forward, but then gives up and lays her face on the floor in defeat
Doesn't eat toys
Eats floor lint
Loves to talk
LOVES her Papa Jed
HATES the fact that we are now sleep training and wont pick her up at night
A rather successful visit. Owen was very brave. He only got a little scared once when the doctor asked him to lay on his back. He had a great conversation with him. It was really cute. Penny didn't mind the hemoglobin test, hated the shot, and didn't like when the doctor tried to put the stethoscope on her chest. Other than that, she did rather well too.
Hooray for being done for another 3 months!
