Our trip Upstate!

Pennie was so excited to leave on our trip!
What are we waiting for mom! Let's go!

Owen was so excited once we all loaded up, he couldn't stop screaming (literally) with joy until we were well into New Jersey.

We got to ride up with Izzy too! Cheese!

Pennie was excited to be in the car too! She was SO good the whole way there. You would never have guessed that there was an almost 3 month old in the car :)

Izzy insisted that I take this picture of him. I'm not sure what he's doing. But he was very insistent that it be documented :)

This is a cute picture of Pennie. Not so much of mommy. This was taken our last day there. Owen had been sick, and mommy hadn't been sleeping at night.

This, on the other hand, was our first day! Me and my buddy Abey, hanging out in the hammock, just like old times!

We did finger painting! Abey has gotten really good at this. He doesn't need any help at all! Just put the paints where he can reach them, and he can take it from there ;)

Owen loved painting too. Looks like we need to invest in some finger paints too!

We watched a movie every night. Owen loved Izzy's movie chair.

We took lots of walks! Iz, Owen, and I walked up to the bee man's house. We just love his mail box! I couldn't get Iz to stand still so he looks like a cyclops.

Owen liked to run everywhere. He's running so fast, all of his limbs are a blur!

We saw a lot of salamanders! Most of them were dead. Squished flat by cars that came by. But we DID see some that were smarter than the cars!

We took lots of bike rides. Here is Abey and his mom, Michelle.

Izzy on his brand new two wheeler!
Owen on his radio flyer! It was so nice to take it somewhere that he could actually ride it!
Also, if you look closely in the background you will see a little scene our neighbor George has set up. He has cut out horses pulling carts with George Bush, followed by Bill Clinton. Hysterical.

We went to the creek almost every day.

Owen and Izzy like to throw rocks in.

Then O got sick :( We thought it was just teething. He started cutting a new molar that weekend. But that was the least of his worries. I took him to the doctor on Thursday, and it turns out he has Coxsackie virus too! We had to come home early so we could try and avoid sharing with our friends :(

We had a really good time while we were there. Owen was a little miserable for a few days, but he still enjoyed being there. Maybe next time we can stay healthy. I'll post some videos in the next few days!
