Izzy, Owen, and I went to the Natural History Museum last Thursday. We went to see...
Extreme Mammals
Izzy has been wanting to go see this exhibit for a long time. It was really cool. Both boys really liked it. There were models of prehistoric mammals. There were fossils and bones. They had whale fringe, a Norwal tussk, and a bunch of other stuff. We spent quite a while there. Then we made a stop at the Dinosaurs. You can't go to the Museum of Natural History without a trip to the dinosaurs. Lastly, we went to the Space exhibit. Izzy really likes this one. Izzy likes the Super Nova. He pushes a button and he can watch a (computer animated) super nova explode on a video screen on the floor. He loves it. Both boys had a great time wandering around the exhibit.
But my favorite part was when Owen decided to do a head stand in the middle of the room for all to see. He just stood there with his head on the floor and his fanny in the air. Totally unfazed by the people walking by him. Izzy even joined him. But he didn't stay long enough for me to get a picture of the two of them. I guess he has his dignity :) Owen on the other hand, does not.Extreme Mammals
