Good times

We've been up to a lot so far this summer.
Here are a few highlights!
We like to go visit great grandma and grandpa.
Last week, we had a picnic of cheerios outside with our cousin Natalie!

Owen, who will remain in his current swim class level next session, is actually doing pretty well! Yes, he is still afraid to put his face in the water, and will freak out if it happens. But he really does a good job following directions, and has a lot of fun with his teacher! Owen lets Tim help him float on his back. This is huge! Owen will now put the back of his head in the water on his own!

Sharks in a Basket. One of the great games that they play in Owens swimming class.

Another thing we've been doing a lot this summer is bowling! One of the local bowling alleys lets kids under 18 have 2 free games every day for the entire summer! For $24 we were able to add four adults. So we all get 2 games a day all summer long. (we only go about once a week. but we are still saving money!) Owen loves bowling. He's a natural :)

Such concentration!

We also went down to Manti a few weeks ago to see the Manti Pageant.
It takes place on the big, grassy hill in front of the Manti Temple.
It really is a beautiful back drop.

The show doesn't start until after dark, so we had the kids prepped in their jammies.

Spiderman, playing hide-and-seek :)

Owen and some Lamanite ladies!

This is what Pennie looked like when the show finally started.

And this is what Owen looked like by the end of the show :)
Any day that ends with my kids out cold is a GREAT day!

The Manti Pageant. I loved going to that! So I hate that I went to Utah (my sister's wedding) and didn't get to see a single friend...again! Please don't hate me. Will you still play with us when you come out here? please!!!
