Nursery

The Nursery leaders send out a monthly email talking about the things they talked about in Nursery, as well as some of the things they are working on. We have a great Nursery by the way. It's not just babysitting in there. They have divided the kids into two groups, naming them the Bigs (3 yr olds), and the Littles (2 yr olds). The bigs are learning to function in more of a classroom setting and play less with toys. The littles have more opportunity to take part in activities and short lessons because they are more geared toward their attention span, and because they don't have the bigger, more confidant kids there shouting out answers. They all come together for singing time (which is when I see them), and then separate again until parents come and pick them up. We have some GREAT leaders in there. Owen loves it and I notice what a good affect it has on him.

In the April News Letter, Owen was featured in some pictures! The Littles were learning about being thankful and learned a story about Nephi from the Book of Mormon. They all dressed up like Lamanites, complete with toilet paper headbands! Hysterical.
